About Us

"Our mission is to foster a vibrant mountain biking community built on mutual respect and shared stewardship. We believe that every ride is an opportunity to be an ambassador for our sport. By prioritizing trail courtesy, yielding with a smile, and respecting all trail users, we ensure our local paths remain welcoming and sustainable for everyone."

The "Hoppy Cycling club" Trail Rules
1. The "Golden Rule" of Yielding
Always yield to those traveling uphill and to non-cyclists. When you encounter hikers or runners, slow down to a walking pace or stop completely. A friendly "Hello!" or "Have a great hike!" goes a long way in building goodwill.

2. Respect the Rhythm of the Trail
Our trails are shared spaces, not private race tracks. Save the high-speed descents for clear lines of sight, and always ride within your ability to stop instantly. Assume there is a family or a dog around every blind corner.

3. Leave It Better Than You Found It
Help us maintain our reputation as stewards. Pack out all trash (including those tiny gel tabs), stay on the marked trail to avoid widening the path, and avoid riding on muddy trails to prevent deep ruts that ruin the experience for everyone.

4. Communication is Key
If you are passing another rider or a hiker from behind, give a polite verbal warning like, "Rider back!" or "On your left when you're ready!" Give them time to react—don't force a pass.

5. Be the "Trail Mechanic"
